Alternative Web Traffic Sources
The main traffic sources you already may be SEO, PPC (Google AdWords), Facebook, etc. But you can't always only rely on getting web traffic from the big guys. You always need to line up your alternative traffic sources for future growth of your business.
Below are rather 5 traffic channels, and in each channels there are quite a few traffic sources available.
E-Book Sites - When you have marketing materials in e-book format (for example PDF), then it is the way to go.
Document Sharing Sites - Not limited to PDF files, but you can share all other files such as PowerPoint (PPT), Excel (XLS), etc.
Flickr (Yes, it is a Yahoo-owned site and it's still great) and Instagram (the new guy which is for mobile users) - If you take photos and they are beautiful photos that you want to share, and other people like to share, then photo sharing sites and platforms are great.
Pinterest - Share images, especially great pictures. People on Pinterest may like what you have shared and you may get traffic because of sharing.
Yahoo Answers - Yes! It still works.
